WEFIX will not employ any tradesmen involved in overcharging or sharp practise

Another company has an upfront one hour booking charge of between £114 to £270 before the tradesman arrives.

Some franchised engineers from that company outsource work to illegal unqualified foreign labour with no DBS check endangering customers.

The same company have also been known to inflate the charge to the customer of £50,000 to carry out some work, £20,000 went fraudulently to the tradesman and £30,000 to the company. The work was not completed and the tradesman continued to work for that company.

Their tradesmen have been known to charge £3,000 for one hour’s roofing work.

Cash deposits have been fraudulently taken for work never started. The customer contacted the police who revealed the tradesmen had a long criminal record. A police investigation is still ongoing.

Some companies do not give a breakdown on invoices. Falsified, overpriced, material and scaffolding receipts have been presented to the customer.
